Ordered a table saw through the web site opposed to the brick and mortar store and the experience has been nothing but frustrating. The saw was backordered with the estimated arrival pushed out further twice. Tired of the perpetual backorder, I tried to cancel my order. A week after cancelling I received an email that they couldn't cancel the order because the item had already shipped. Another week later, I receive an email notice the item has finally shipped, two weeks after I cancelled the order. Customer service, after two attempts and being on hold for over 20 minutes each time, said they cannot do anything. I inquired about options for returning the item and customer service said that they would have to get back to me since this was a drop ship from the manufacturer and that woodcraft wouldn't accept a return. So now I am suck in limbo with a $1800 tablesaw I don't need or want since I had already purchased another one from a different company while waiting for the perpetual back order and thinking the order was cancelled.
I spent over $100.00 on a peg board kit. It was never received. After talking to customer service they told me that something was wrong, because the had a shipping weight of approximately 2.5 pounds, and a peg board kit would be much more weight. After all that they still would not get back to me about this problem. Make no mistake, they don't care about me, and if they don't care about me. They don't care about you. D

Ordered a router table off of Amazon from this company. It only had 4 reviews on Amazon, and only one had any text. It just said someone bought one for their son and he loved it. Was leary but the picture looked good and and figured I'd take a chance. Bad idea. Right out of the box, terrible instructions. Pictures helped, but only because I know what I'm doing. Someone less handy would be in trouble. Then there's the product. 100% particle board, cheap MDF. The stuff split while putting the screws into the pre drilled holes. And I was using a screwdriver not a power tool. For a hundred dollars less I could have got a name brand that was better quality. And I'm convinced after reading a previous review that the only positive ones are from company imposters.
I'm a new hobbyist and part time pro cutting board guy, so I'm not completely in the know of all things wood related. I need help on occasion, so I went into the store in N Atlanta, was treated well by a very knowledgeable young individual, but seemed to be looked down on by the rest of the staff. Felt very judged on questions that I was asking and that he was asking his colleagues. It seemed as if they were thinking, Oh no, another guy trying woodworking and we have to put up with all the questions now. I decided at that point to not go back into the store, although I can see that there were great prices. I decide since they have a website, I'll use that for the pricing and "same day" shipping that's advertised all over the site. Well, my first experience with the site is horrible. I ordered on a Saturday, paid by my Amazon pay account, all of which suggests that they will charge me and ship that day. Well, I was wrong. It's Tuesday at present, I received an email saying my payment was accepted but no communication on when the order will be shipped. I found an email where they sent me my "view order status" but when entering the order number and my zip, it always failed to find the order, saying "no order found." Since this is a troubling statement especially when your card has been charged, I decided to call customer service. Well that was just as happy an experience as going into the store. It actually felt like I was being blamed that I ordered on Saturday and I did not know that it wouldn't be processed until Monday and that it potentially won't ship for a while. Remember, all indications and all information on the site, by using Amazon Pay and by blatantly saying "same day shipping", in my mind that meant my order would be coming Monday or Tuesday. At the very least, some sort of communication saying we're processing your order, there was none, only an original email saying the processed my order and gave me an order number. I'm giving a 2 on this for the young man at the store, pricing and selection of product. I'm not sure I'll ever buy at the store or online again because those factors don't seem to make up for the arrogance and non communication. I should be rating a one, but as I said the young man in N Atlanta did great and I wish him well. Please read the reviews of this site before buying. I've made the mistake and will not make that one again.

I placed my order on November 22,2020. It said the item was in stock. Two days after I placed my order I was sent and email that the item was backordered. I called customer service and they told me the item would be shipped on December 11th. On December 8th I got another email stating that it was back ordered again. Now the item will not be shipped until after Christmas. Worst company ever!
I ordered one item on November 29th and as of today, 12/14 it still hasn't shipped. No emails from the company or replies to my contact attempt. Finally called a 1-800 number and was told I won't receive it by Christmas even though it was guaranteed to ship within 5-7 business days. Will not do business with this company again.
One star due to a major lack of organization with the ordering system and the insufferable attitude of Woodcraft customer service.
I generally don't post negative reviews but, after my most recent interaction with customer service, i feel others should be alerted and take heed that this company is beginning to fail.
If an item is not available in-store and needs to be ordered, the system completely breaks down and the lack of communication is remarkable. For instance (one of a few recent instances), during the most recent November sale I ordered a Powermatic PM1300 dust collector and a Jet AFS 2000 filtration system. My credit card was charged the same day as the order. After one week I checked the order email and it showed the order was, "in progress." A few days later I checked again with the same results. I decided to call customer service to get a guesstimate on the shipping date so I could arrange for someone to be home when the large packages arrive.
The customer service representative stated that the items are on backorder. One item would most likely arrive at the end of December and one would probably arrive sometime in March. The items were shown as in-stock when I placed the order. She stated that indeed the items are, "in progress." I hung up, frustrated, and called the store in Connecticut; the items were in-stock. So, i called and cancelled the order. I was then told that I would not get a refund until Woodcraft contacted their vendors, requested a cancellation of the order, received confirmation of cancellation and processed my cancellation. Unsatisfactory!
So, my take on the process is that Woodcraft sends dozens of fliers that offer items for sale that are not available, charges their customers the day of the order, does not inform their customers that the products are unavailable and then makes it difficult to refund the order after a customer is aware that the item is back ordered.

If you like all those sells calls give them your info. I had gotten of all the sells calls, day 3 after filling out my info for an order the calls returned. Thanks for nothing. I won't be using Woodcrafters again.
Their prices might not be the best but their customer service is excellent. Always get good and free advice, and I have not had issues with returns. The local store always gives my free shipping on purchases over $35. They cut the lumber if it does not fit my little car at no extra cost. The free clases are very good and they always get good outside resources.
Ordered an item almost a month ago. Advertised that item would ship within 5 days. Almost a month later I called for status and was told that the item was out of stock at the manufacturer. If I had not called, I wouldn't have known. Highly unlikely that I'll order from them again. Looking at the historic poor reviews, I wish I'd listened...

The same day shipping. Useless, as 2 days later (when I was supposed to receive my item given the shipping option I paid for), I received an email saying it was BACKORDERED, with no estimated date of reception.
If you have a store nearby, go for it. If you have to order online, it's the worst possible option.

Yes, it is. They simply do not let people know if an item is out of stock. I paid extra for expedited shipping. Despite saying "SAME DAY" shipping, it took 2 days to tell me the item was backordered. (Given my shipping option, I should have actually RECEIVED my item by the time they bothered to tell me!)

NOT AT ALL! I paid way extra for very expedited shipping (BTW, their ordinary shipping is "Sure Post"... which is beyond terrible.)
Despite advertising "SAME DAY" shipping, it took 2 days for them to even bother to tell me the item was BACKORDERED. The same day that I should have actually RECEIVED my item, had it shipped on the same day with the shipping option selected.
Stay FAR away if you care about receiving your package soon at all.
